We are living as if we have another world to fit in in case of an emergency. Humanity now faces a choice: we can continue down a path where our demands on nature far exceed its capacity to meet them on a sustainable basis; or we can take up a different path, one where our engagements with nature are not only sustainable but also enhance our collective well-being and that of our descendants. A healthy, stable, and biodiverse ecosystem is the foundation for human survival. God planned in such ways which are perfect for each other’s existence. Mankind has been overhauling the plan and now persevere in the environment in which he no longer a part of it. It is time to amend and emend all our mistakes and ignorance. In this environmental day week, SAMCE has arranged a most needed webinar session on “Ecosystem Restoration” on the 12th of June, 2021. Mr. A. Moses packiaraj, M.SC, M.Ed, PG Assistant, CSI Girls Higher Secondary School, was invited for the session. He has illuminated the students with a wide range of statistical figures and facts regarding our ecosystem. He emphasized on the individual responsibilities that has to be undertaken for reviving the copious asset of the ecosystem. Students get propelled through this informative session to be a part of restoring the ecosystem.
