FIRST AID EDUCATION SHOULD BE ACCESSIBLE TO ALL WITHOUT DISCRIMINATION.

IMMEDIATE FIRST AID CAN MAKE REAL DIFFERENCE

First aid is the immediate assistance given to a person who suffers from minor or serious illness or injury. This care provided to preserve life, prevent the condition from deteriorating, or to promote any recovery. The very purpose of first aid is to mitigate injury and future disability. Accident do happens, but safety doesn’t happen by accident.  No one should act as a helpless witness during the unexpected situations; it literally needs courage and readiness to face such situations rather than a trained assistance. Countless lives can be saved with basic knowledge of first aid.  To accentuate the prominence of first aid and to escalate the cognizance, SAMCE arranged an awareness program on 17th of September 2021. Dr. John Sam Arun Prabhu HOD of community Health Nursing and his final year students of CSI Jeyaraj Annapackiam college of Nursing & Allied Sciences were invited to address the gathering. He shed light on learning first aid kit usage inevitable during exigency or emergencies. He gave a crystalline demonstration on CPR, he explained when and where to implement it. He enlisted all the precautionary measures which can be given s first aid for road and fire accident, stroke, heart attack and elucidate countless  tips and tricks to handle  the patients. The overall session was truly advantageous as well as valuable and paved the way to sense the eminence of first aid to save the lives with instinct actions.

FIRST AID IS FOR EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE. BE A HERO, SAVE LIVES.
